We already wrote a fact-checked GoKwik vs Razorpay Magic Checkout comparison — the third name that comes up in the same conversation is Cashfree, via its one-click checkout product, Checkout 360 (also referred to as OCC — One Click Checkout). Same category, same India-specific problem, genuinely different company and pricing model underneath.
Rather skip to an answer? Take our 2-minute checkout quiz — it scores all three platforms against your actual COD mix, AOV, and priorities.
The short version
- Price-sensitive, lower volume, want to know the cost before a sales call? Both publish real numbers — Cashfree’s is simpler (a flat % of sales, no order-count cap), GoKwik’s is capped at 2,000 orders/month before it reverts to a custom Enterprise quote.
- COD-heavy with RTO as a real P&L line item, want the deepest network RTO data? GoKwik’s network is larger and its RTO tooling (70+ interventions) is more granular than what Cashfree publishes.
- Need engagement/support (WhatsApp, AI chatbot) bundled, not just checkout? That’s GoKwik territory again — Cashfree, like Razorpay, is a payments company, not a marketing/engagement platform.
Address prefill: GoKwik’s network is larger, Cashfree claims better accuracy
- GoKwik: 200M+ shoppers in network, 85-90%+ address prefill.
- Cashfree: 120M+ verified saved addresses, with a specifically claimed 95% accuracy rate.
GoKwik’s network is larger on paper. Cashfree is the only one of the three that publishes an accuracy figure rather than just a prefill rate — worth asking both vendors directly what “accuracy” actually measures (correct address vs. just pre-filled) before taking either number at face value.
RTO handling: both real, GoKwik’s claimed reduction is higher
- GoKwik: risk-tiered COD, partial-COD-upfront, COD surcharging, 70+ configurable interventions, claims 40% RTO reduction.
- Cashfree: AI-driven RTO prediction trained on 2.5B+ logistics data points, real-time COD controls (allow/block/partial), targeted COD masking for risky shoppers, claims up to 30% RTO reduction.
Both are prevention-focused rather than reimbursement-focused (unlike Razorpay, which also offers an RTO Protection reimbursement product). The claimed-reduction gap (40% vs 30%) is worth validating against your own order data rather than assuming it’ll transfer directly — RTO reduction is highly category- and AOV-dependent, and these are each vendor’s own best-case published number.
Discounting: Cashfree covers the same ground Razorpay does
Cashfree Checkout 360 supports stacked discounts, automatic Shopify-native discounts, Buy X Get Y, product/collection-level discounts, prepaid-specific discounts, cashback, and No Cost EMI — all from one dashboard, with explicit controls over which offers can combine. That’s functionally comparable to what we found Razorpay’s Coupon Suite does, and meaningfully closes the gap GoKwik’s own sales materials claim against “generic” checkouts.
What we could not find public evidence of for Cashfree: native A/B testing on discounts/checkout variants, the way GoKwik’s Kwik Flows or Razorpay’s CustomFit.ai integration provide. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist — it means it isn’t publicly documented the way the discount-stacking features are, so ask directly if that’s a requirement for you.
Pricing: both publish real numbers, structured very differently
GoKwik lists an actual entry-tier rate card on its own pricing page, not just a custom quote:
- GoKwik: Emerging Plan (gokwik.co/pricing) — ₹3,000/month + 3.5% COD fee + applicable PA charges, for stores doing 0–2,000 orders/month. Above that, Enterprise/custom pricing, contact sales. It’s an order-count cap, not a sales-value cap — a lower-AOV, high-order-count store hits the ceiling faster than a high-AOV one.
- Razorpay Magic Checkout: still enterprise-only, contact sales for the checkout layer itself — on top of Razorpay’s standard 2% gateway fee (razorpay.com/pricing), which currently also runs a time-limited new-merchant promo (0% for the first 90 days, under ₹5L/month). The gateway fee has a promo like Cashfree’s; Magic Checkout’s own incremental fee is still completely unpublished either way.
- Cashfree: standard/permanent rate is a flat 1.95% + applicable taxes on domestic transactions (cashfree.com/payment-gateway-charges), with Checkout 360 appearing included rather than a separate line item. There’s also a limited-time new-merchant promo — 0% platform fee up to ₹20L GMV, through 31 March 2027 or the GMV cap, whichever hits first — but that’s a promotional offer for merchants who sign up during the campaign window, not the standing rate.
We’d still confirm all three directly before assuming they hold at your volume — enterprise-tier features sometimes get gated even when the base product is self-serve, and it’s worth asking GoKwik whether that 3.5% COD fee applies to COD orders only or all transactions, since their own page doesn’t make that fully explicit. On permanent standing rates, Cashfree (1.95%) is cheaper than Razorpay (2%), and GoKwik’s flat ₹3,000/month plus 3.5% COD fee is a different shape entirely. Razorpay and Cashfree both currently layer a time-limited 0% promo on top of their standing rate for new/lower-volume merchants — GoKwik’s Emerging Plan is the odd one out in a good way here, since it’s a standing published rate for that segment, not a promo that reverts after a few months.
Who each is actually built for
| GoKwik | Cashfree Checkout 360 | |
|---|---|---|
| Best fit | COD-heavy, RTO is a real cost, want deepest network data | Price-sensitive, want the simplest pricing to compare, no order-count cap |
| Standout strength | RTO-risk data + prevention tooling, bundled engagement layer | Lower flat standard rate (1.95% vs GoKwik’s order-capped structure), AI RTO prediction trained on large logistics dataset |
| Engagement/support bundled | Yes (Kwik Engage) | No |
| A/B testing | Native | Not publicly documented |
What we actually do
For lower-volume stores, “which one is transparent” isn’t really the deciding factor — both publish real numbers, so it’s “which structure fits your order profile.” A high-order-count, lower-AOV store can hit GoKwik’s 2,000-order cap fast and fall into custom pricing; Cashfree’s sales-value cap scales differently. For COD-heavy brands where RTO is already a measured, meaningful cost and the client also wants WhatsApp/support automation in the same implementation, GoKwik’s bundled scope still tends to win out regardless of pricing structure. We’d rather point a client at whichever actually fits their order profile and priorities than always default to the platform we have a partnership with.
Disclosure: Klickspell is a referral partner for GoKwik, Razorpay, and Cashfree, and may earn a commission regardless of which one a merchant ends up choosing — so there’s no single-platform financial incentive behind this comparison. It’s built from both platforms’ public claims, not either one’s sales deck.
